Experience-- Our organization has successfully served our communities since 2008. Proactive Team members have skilled experience across settings and various situations. Our speciality is in working with children ages 2-22 with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral needs.
Expertise-- All of our behavior analysts are graduate and doctoral level practitioners that have sought training above and beyond the minimal requirements for a BCBA. Many of our behavior analysts are published authors within the field of ABA and routinely provide professional development. In 2025, our Team completed a comprehensive training to become a Trauma Informed Practice.
Empowerment-- We pride ourselves on providing effective service to empower the individuals we serve. Our goal is for all stakeholders to see behavior gains and to set high expectations.
Efficiency-- Our organization is committed to teaching others how to learn and implement interventions with a caregiver/teacher training component. We aim to build capacity within schools and and with families.
Ethical-- We are a reflective organization that is constantly evaluating how we can shine. Highly versed in the moral principles underlying our professional code of conduct, we continually deliberate our role in the lives of the individuals we serve.
Mission
Proactive Behavior Services provides individualized behavioral, academic, and functional programming based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children ages 2-22. We have an ABA clinic in Chesterland in addition to school-based outreach services.
